Congregational Care

Congregational Care

At Grace, we feel God has equipped each of us as believers to minister to one another. That’s why the Bible refers to the church as the Body of Christ. We all need each other, and each of us has something to contribute in helping the body function as God intended. God wants all of us to be in community for this very reason.

Most often your best care will be provided through your friends and those you’re in community with.  At Grace that may be a Grace Group and/or a Community Group. Your places of community will serve as your primary care-giving unit in the church by:

  • Visiting you when you are sick in the hospital or at home
  • Celebrating your accomplishments
  • Providing counsel to you in your walk with God
  • Answering your questions about the church

What you need most at times like this is a friend to hear your story or someone to pray with you. Most often that will be someone from your Grace Group or Community Group.

Contact the church office if you need assistance.

If you feel you need someone to pray with, we encourage you to share your concerns with your Grace Group. You can also meet with a prayer partner at the close of each Worship Service at the front of the Worship Center, or you can send us a prayer request.

No doubt there are events in life when you need a pastor to officiate in the joy of your wedding or to celebrate the life of a loved one who is deceased.
