Do you sometimes wish you and your spouse had a better relationship? In other words, you know it’s good, but it could be better. If that’s the case, this class might be for you. It’s all about making “good” into “better.” The goals of “Intimacy Matters” include:
• Celebrating your relationship strengths
• Identifying potential growth areas
• Encouraging you and your partner to talk about your relationship
You and your partner will take an online couples’ relationship assessment. Facilitated by Phil and Sue Thurston (extensive work with premarital counseling), Lenny Nasca (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) and Ashley Kelly (counseling intern), the class will involve an interpretation of the results and couples’ discussion. During our class time we will focus on the following relationship areas:
• Communication
• Conflict
• Romance and intimacy
• Relationship roles
• Leisure activities
• Spiritual beliefs
• Finances
The cost is only $35 per couple, which includes the Relationship Assessment. Free childcare available. (Similar class sessions can cost up to $100 each – so this is a $600 value for a $35 investment in your marriage!) Idea: This could be a great Valentine’s Day gift!
